The Klutz Attempts to Make A Cake.

I am dead beat after working non-stop for nine hours but because I'm still chatting with Qp online, I shall blog! :D

And so after reading Dawn Yang's blog, I was super tempted to make the strawberry jello cheesecake that she made. Haha.

But the problem was:
1. i've never made a cheesecake before.
2. imma big time klutz.
3. I DON'T EVEN HAVE AN IDIOT'S GUIDE TO MAKING A CHEESECAKE RECIPE!! :O

but like they said, when there's a will, there's a way.

and since my tummy has a very strong will by itself, i found a way. :)

i scoured through different recipes online, and i combined everything that made sense into my own recipe! HAHA.
so here goes... my very first attempt at making a strawberry jello cheesecake! :D

i love the crust of the cake! I kept eating the crumbs. :/
and the cheese. :/ :/
(i told my mother that i cannot be a chef next time because the dish would be half finished by the time it leaves the kitchen! heh!)

i waited for about four hours, and then cooked the jello, cooled it, and poured it in.
with my mum's help of course! :)

refrigerated and ready to be friends with my tummy! :)

not too bad for a first-timer eh? :P

my dad and bro were super supportive because they knew it was my first time making it. hahah. especially my dad! :) he seldom eats cakes. but he even had a second helping this time! my brother, being the junkie machine he is, cannot be used as an accurate gauge of how yummy the cake is. haha. but methinks it's decent for a first try! (:

p.s: i suddenly want to be a baker/cook!

*but i know it's not possible, cause i have this bad habit of pinching food everytime i cook! :(
