With the owner of CUT, Mr. Wolfgang Puck |
Never did I expect that I'd be so lucky to meet a celebrity chef in person. But I did!!! It's not everyday that you get to rub shoulders with someone famous so please forgive me for being all starry-eyed.
What impressed me most about Mr. Wolfgang Puck is that he is so friggin' down-to-earth. With all his achievements, you'd think that his nose would be high up in the air. But he isn't like that at all. In fact, we were sitting in a quiet corner when Anthony spotted him talking to the customers at another table. He eventually made his way to our table, shook hands with all of us, while we raved about his food and restaurant. He even cracked a few jokes during our little chat! Gotta love a chef who is humble AND has a sense of humour. :) Then, he thanked us, shook our hands again, before moving on to chat with other customers.
Even after we left the restaurant, we were still grinning from ear to ear. It's cute to see Anthony's parents being so excited. We passed the camera around, and his parents were so happy to see that the photo turned out nice.

Intrigued, I did a little research on Mr. Wolfgang Puck to find out more about his life. It's nice to know that he learnt how to cook from his mother, and is also very involved with community work. Go check out his biography if you're interested to know more! (link)
