And I will try to fix you.

When you try your best, but you don't succeed
When you get what you want, but not what you need

When you feel so tired, but you can't sleep

Stuck in reverse

And the tears come streaming down your face

When you lose something you can't replace

When you love someone but it goes to waste

Could it be worse?

as you can see, i got myself a cactus recently- at HortPark, no less. :)

and i've finally watched kungfu panda with meehoon and mok! i'd say that it really made me laugh. we had pasta after the movie, and it was good catching up and cracking jokes with the two. it was an enjoyable day, and i'm thankful for this breather. :)

on a sidenote, it never fails to amaze me how one can hold onto anger for a long long while.

hasn't anyone been taught the art of forgiveness? cause lately, i've seen people around me quarreling; getting angry with their "other halves" for really silly things- like not picking up phonecalls. i don't know if i should be amused or not. why are we wasting time being angry when there could be more lovin'? i think i'll never understand people because i just don't function the same way, perhaps. :( why can't things be simpler? why is it that when your loved one lets you down, you have to "win", make them grovel and let you have the upper hand in order for you to feel better? i really don't understand. we all speak of love, and how much we love. but do we really? if we can't even be considerate towards the feelings of one that we claim to "love".

well i guess, it all boils down to immaturity and selfishness. we're just too young, and so we allow stupid and insignificant things like that to spoil the relationship. we'll only think of ourselves and what we want in the relationship, so much so that we neglect and fail to think for the other party.

for those who're always on the receiving end- taking and hardly giving in, is "sorry" that hard to say?
for those who're constantly giving in- groveling and putting aside your pride just so you can make things better- how many more "sorry"s can you say? how many more times can you give in before you fall apart?

it upsets me to see couples quarrel cause it takes two hands to clap. but so often we're caught up in our own anger that we fail to see this simple truth. and very often, this is only made clear to the bystanders.

with that said, forgive me for i think sometimes i just am too cynical about this funny thing people call "love".

i've seen enough to not want to be in a relationship for now, hahaha. sure it's nice having someone who'd hold you when you're down, who promises to be there when no one is, who will make sacrifices for you just to see your smile. but is it worth all the pain?

i'm not sure either.

because maybe i'm not courageous enough to let someone in again.
because it still scares me to hand over my heart on a silver platter, waiting for someone to take or break it.

  1. I thought all that you said about a relationship was pretty well put across. I guess people just never thought of all these in their fit of anger. ): *sings "Where is the Love"*

    take care anyways!:)
