On 18th August, Antz and I decided to go to Sunset Grill to celebrate our first year since it's a place we've been wanting to visit together. Really glad that I finally managed to try the famous chicken wings! :)
In the cab, on our way to Sunset Grill
(He obliged to have his photos taken, albeit grumpily, cause I insisted it was a special day, teehee)
He ordered Lvl 2 chicken wings (my sore throat was still pretty bad), mini burgers and a lasagna. The chicken wings are rather ordinary, but I love the lasagna! Super yummy and cheesy. Whacked all the food really quickly. I was so focused on eating and taking photos of the food that I completely missed the sunset though. Kwa kwa :'( When I realised it, it was too late. Antz caught the sunset though! So much for asking my bff, the Nugget, to check the timing of the sunset cause I wanted to reach there in time to catch it. Failblog!
After dinner, we decided to take a walk to digest the food. The road out was pretty deserted and I was freaking high for some reason. Laughing and skipping around like a mad woman. Antz even asked me if I was drunk, meh. We talked about random stuff as we walked. After that, we managed to flag down a cab and headed to town to chill in Starbucks, Ion.
He kept this in his wallet! :)
It's hard to believe that it's already a year.
Drew a storybook for my favourite boy.
(He asked me if the numbers were for him to buy 4d, and I gave him an incredulous look.)
And he made me a card with scrapbook materials, not forgetting Pony the Polar Bear! :)
I remember how I'd finished making his "card" eons ago, and I proudly declared to him that I put in lots of effort in it. However, as the days drew closer, there was still no news of any completed card from him. So I kept dropping hints, indicating that I'd like to have a handmade card for our first year. But still, no card. And since he spent all of his time at my birthday chalet the week before, I knew it was impossible to make a card in the short time possible. And I kinda fangqi the idea of getting a nice handmade card from my boy. Afterall, guys don't really do sweet stuff like that right?
However, when he passed this card to me, I was stunned. He'd put in so much effort into it! So touched by this sweet gesture of his. This goes to show how bad I am at keeping surprises, and how he is the complete opposite when it comes to this. I felt so bad that I had demanded two cards from him - one for the first year, and one for my birthday. :/ I know this boy's for keeps because he really makes me feel loved and puts a smile on my face all the time. :)

A+ for effort and talent!
My collection of Polar Bears. Polly & Pony!
Thank God for a boy like him. We may have our petty quarrels and fights, but I know at the end of the day, this is one person I can count on. We both have much to learn. But along the way, I hope that we'll both remember why we love each other - not just on the good days, but on the bad ones as well.
