Kangy's birthday was like a week long celebration, even longer than the CNY celebration. Hahahah, or so the divers said! On the actual day, we had dinner at Boat Quay's Pasta Fresca but I'll be uploading the photos another day so that'll have to wait. Then on Sat, we went to Zouk to celebrate his birthday once more by partying the night away. I got the Citibank credit card so I got in for free. Most of the other divers had too. *cough hardcore cough* So Qp and Antz, please go get the card. You can save $25/$33 this way. :) Nothing much to say, it was a great night. I love the company. Ellis, Qp, Antz, Kang, Jace, Weijie, Cheryl, SH, Dean, Chinz, Sel, Joseph - I think that's all. It's great meeting new faces, especially if they're fun people. After clubbing, Antz and I went for some prata and we met Qp and WJ. Great minds think alike! ;) Heh. My smelly boyfriend k.o-ed at the playground once again and he slept on my lap until Jace woke him up and drove all of us home in WJ's car.

Oh yes, just to sidetrack! Anthony was singing Justin Bieber's "Baby" at the playground but he sang the lyrics wrongly, which resulted in a joke. He sang, "When I was 13, I MADE my first love." I stared at him and said, "WHAT? You liar! You cheat my feelings!" Hahahaha. Idiot leh. After that, I copied him and sang the song wrongly on purpose. Teehee.

Sunday saw a few of us gathering at Antz' place for some poker action. I lost $7 but my awesome boyfriend won some money so it doesn't really matter. Happy can already :) We wanted to pop some champagne for the birthday boy (who happily swept all of our hardearned cash, $50+ dammnit) but he wasn't feeling well enough to drink. Supper was on Kang though, heehee. (Y)

Day One in Perth

My parents sent me to the airport and we had breakfast before I went to the checkpoint. Was almost late for boarding so didn't get to shop at the DFS. Ran all the way to the boarding gate and I was the second last to board the plane I think. Everyone was seated and staring at me. D: Lunch was Beef Casserole with potato! Damn lucky to get the last set. It was soo yummy. Played some lameass brick game & watched Avatar on the plane! :) Glad to have caught this hyped show finally - for free (well kinda)! I was quite bored at the start but it got better with more action in the middle. The blue people are rather awesome. I just love all the colours and creatures. So beautiful. :) Didn't really get to sleep cause the show was so long and when I was done watching, it was nearly time to touch down.

Got caught up at customs cause I didn't fill in Jo's address. I told him I didn't know the address so he told me to write down my friend's name. Another officer came and said he needed to talk to me:

Guy: Why did you come here for?

Me: Uh to visit my friend.

Guy: Oh what is your friend doing here?

Me: She's studying.... (insert blank face)

Guy: Do you know what school she's in?

Me: Umm yeah Curtin?

Guy: How long has she been studying here?

Me: Half a year (Anyhow whack this one)

Guy: What are you guys gonna do?

Me: Hmmm.... We're gonna go shopping and eat alot! (Felt like an utter bimbo here)

Guy: Who paid for your ticket?

Me: My dad.

Guy: Okay! That's all dear. Have a good trip!

Was totally lovin' the aircon-like weather the moment I exited the airport. Was half-expecting to freeze in an icicle when I stepped out because everyone on board the plane was decked heavily in WINTER WEAR. I was so worried cause I was just wearing a shirt and had only a scarf in my bag! Thankfully, it was not that cold. Jo and her friend Zhiling were so nice to pick me up from the airport! :) She dropped us off at Jo's place, and I started snapping touristy pictures again.

After the excitement died down, Jo and I headed out for some ice cream @ Icy Ice. It was just a ten minute walk near her neighbourhood! So convenient! Accompanied her to buy some groceries first, before pigging out. We ordered a large yogurt shavings with passionfruit topping. I kinda like the sour taste of our yogurt but it tasted like plum and we couldn't finish. I felt so cold after eating! Brr. Had to endure the cold while walking back home.

We nua-ed at home for quite awhile until I started hopping around and making noises cause I was hungry. Dressed up and got ready to leave the house for some dinner and clubbing! Whoopwhoop. It was super duper cold after the sun set, but Jo lent me her jacket! :) Thanks babe! We took a bus and I almost tapped the bin cause their left hand side doesn't have a tap-out! Btw, people here say thanks to the bus driver when alighting and can walk diagonally across roads. How cool is that? Their green man only appears for a few seconds so most of the time we're walking with the red man blinking! So scary! If I was alone, I wouldn't dare to "jaywalk" although everyone else is walking. :/ We had to do quite a fair bit of walking to get to our dinner place but we still managed to camwhore heehee.

Finally arrived at Analakshmi and hungry us quickly filled our plates up! The good thing about this place is that you can eat as much as you want (like a buffet) and pay any amount you want. We all paid $5 each! I only had one plate cause I piled too much carbs (rice and potato) onto my plate the first round! Heheh. At least my tummy was filled! :) 

Decided to stop for some coffee and cake at a pretty cafe called Exomon! I was already so bloated yet we still continued eating! Jo and I shared a drink and the marshmallows were melted into the mocha. Super tasty, I love it! :) Kept warm in the cafe, until Jo and Shinz decided that it was time to start making our way down to the club.

 

They brought me to check out salsa dancing at one of the clubs, called the Mustang Bar. It was so damn cool! I would love to grow old in Perth and dance until my bones creak with my love next time. There were some couples who were quite old already but they still dance with so much energy. It was such a joy watching them! :) It was free entry btw. Singapore sucks balls. Hahahaha. We left after the band finished playing their last set, and headed for The Deen. While queuing up, there was this girl who was screaming at the bouncer, apparently cause he touched her friend. Zomg, drama! Hahaha. We don't get so much drama in Singapore, do we? Also, while walking, we saw this man who got pinned down by the police, probably cause he was drunk and started being a nuisance to the public. I've never really seen such action, except in my HK drama serials.

They played rather current songs like Hotel Room Service, TikTok etc so I didn't feel that out of place. All the girls were so hot! I felt like ugly short duckling in the land of barbie dolls. :'( And I was so uncool cause I was doing mambo moves while everyone else danced super sexily. Hum. Didn't drink cause I wanted to save money. But I had a blast doing stupid moves with Shinz and Jo! It was really hilarious. We watched other people and mimicked their moves! Hahahaha.

After awhile, the songs started to bore me and we had to leave anyway to catch the last train home! The weather's awesome but when the wind blows, it's just soo cold! I was so glad that we could hide in the train for warmth. There was a weird guy in the train, but we ignored him. Hahaha.

home sweet home!

The walk home was really quick probably because it was cold at night. And that's about it for my first day in Perth! :D I know it's a pretty long entry but that's because I jotted down some random points before I went to sleep. Kind-hearted Jo left her laptop outside for me to use. I only jotted down till Day Two so I predict that the following entries will get shorter and shorter :/ Ah well, stay tuned for more nonsense adventures of mine! Heehee. BAI.

ps: It's my first time traveling and flying to a foreign country alone! I'm so proud of myself for slowly becoming more independent! :)

Went with my sexy girlies qp, esther and via. The moment we stepped into the club, I was given apple sourz! Me likey very much. Heehee. It's green and sour. Nais! Drank quite abit of that before I realised there was even better alcohol lying around that were feeling lonely and needed my company. Hahaha. Qp and I tried champagne for the first time! :) It's damn nice cause it has a fizzy taste. Heh now I know why the rich people like it. I bet they all secretly like China Apple too, rofl. Had Martell and Macallan also. Wow wow, Gerald damn generous ah. but I've yet to get him anything :O QP! What should we buy? I feel bad now :(


Danced the night away with the girls! Guess I gotta admit that it was nice to be high and happy for that short period of time. qp lost her ez & atm card so she had to leave to find it. Thankfully she found it back or else sure damn sian max one! But I don't really like saturdays, for that matter. Mambo nights are still the best. There's too many army boys on saturday. I'd rather just look stupid and do kuku hand gestures than get grinded by guys :( Kept thinking of the Tai boy cause I don't wanna betray his trust. I'm thankful that we trust each other enough to go clubbing without the other's presence, but still I guess it's quite hard to do so really. Anw, sidetracking a little, anthony was damn funny! He saw J in the club the night before and he told me, "I saw Serene's bf in the club and he said she's in Melb! ORHOR! He got ask permission not?" Hahaha, what the hell, the way he said "ask permission" was damn funny! Like some primary school kid :p


Had breakfast with my little qp and we talked about so many random things! She is damn weird. I've never seen someone eat the muffin so happily in my life. I usually just throw it away. Hahaha. What a weird friend I have. :D But I love her very much, how?

Last Mambo of 2009 turned out way shittier than I expected. We didn't even get to dance on the dancefloor. Well, Antz and I tried but it was so squeezy that we gave up. The dancefloor was like a furnace, and there was this disgustingly sweaty guy who was rubbing his sweaty shirt on me! Urgh. Anthony pulled me away, and stood at my place to block the guy. :(

Anyway, we spent almost the whole night at our table, doing Mambo moves only when popular songs like "Nobody" etc played. I really didn't have fun that night man. But Dirisa bought us all drinks, so did Joel. Soo nice of them. We had Maccallan and tequila shots. Kang also brought alcohol from home. So before entering the club, we drank Chivas, and Vodka with 7-11 Big Gulp as mixers.Anyway, I was awkwardly sober the whole night. Didn't really get to drink much, cause also cannot dance. Sianzzors.

Anthony was high after the Big Gulp, hahaha. But he still act seh, wanna drink the Maccallan, pure. Crazy boy leh. I stopped him from drinking a Flaming! Someone spilled drinks on Anthony's new pair of Zara shoes, the one I bought for him! Tmd, now there's a stain. And his Burberry wallet also kena, but I helped him to clean it so I guess that one's okay? Was accompanying Jace to the toilet, and we had to squeeze our way through. Then some guy from behind pushed us so I fell and this bitch in front turned and told me, "could you not push?", with her evil eyes and all. Hate the people at Zouk that night. So unfriendly please. Some girl tripped and kicked me with her damned high heels, and didn't even say sorry! :'( My leg hurt like crap, and there was a huge bruise. I could even feel the swell, but Jace helped me to rub it so it was better the next day.

Went for supper after leaving the club. Maggie goreng FTW! (Y) It was super yums, my tummy was so happy. Heehee. I secretly suspect that the Prata man was pissed with us last time, cause Kang talked to him with an indian accent, hence the shitty food the other time we went. Hahaha. Asked Dirisa, Jace and Kang to leave first, while I waited for Anthony's bro, Nicky and his friend, Nikhil to come! They were still drinking. So we waited till 4.30am with Anthony sleeping on my lap. Then I browsed his iphone, and saw this picture of a big boobs girl! :O So I questioned him about it, and he said the girl is me what! D: (btw, Kang said the picture does resemble me a little rofl) Annoying boy! Then I bugged him again, until he told me that it was from some application that he downloaded. Nik called and he found us at the playground. Then they went to eat while I stayed with Anthony. Nicky was v nice to Anthony, he brought plenty of iced water and asked him to drink! :) The boys finished their supper and Anthony has sobered up already so he helped me to flag a cab.

Reached home, and my whole family was up watching Manu match. But luckily I didn't reek of alcohol. So I just washed up, and went to bed. The next day, my bro told me his friend saw me at Zouk. Uh oh :O Hahaha, okay la got nothing to hide also. Lol.
